Young Sounds of Houston

Young Sounds of Houston is a program developed through the highly acclaimed University of Houston-Downtown Civic Jazz Orchestra to create a high-quality jazz orchestra from top middle and high school musicians throughout the greater Houston metropolitan area.

Every year, Young Sounds of Houston organise the Young Jazz Artists' Music Camp which includes daily classroom instruction, ensemble playing, and private master classes by professional musicians and jazz educators.
