Pics in the Park
  A Bernar Venet Photo Contest

 

 

Texan-French Alliance for the Arts is partnering with Houston Center for Photography and Herman Park Conservancy for Pics in the Park. This photo contest is open to photographers of all ages and skills. 

Here's what you do:

1. Visit Herman Park
2. Spend an hour, an afternoon, a day enjoying the park and admiring the incredible steel sculptures by Bernar Venet.
3. Take a photo or two of your experience.
4. Send them to HCP to be included in an online exhibition and for a chance to win some awesome prizes!

All of the images submitted will be included in an online exhibition on HCP's website. You have until October 15, 2010 to get your pictures in! 

Bevin Bering Dubrowski, HCP Executive Director and Contest juror, will anounce her selections the second week of October. Prizes will be awarded to the three best images taken by photographers under 18 and to the three best images taken by all other photographers.
