The Periwinkle Foundation proudly presents: Making A Mark, An Exhibition of art by children with cancer and blood disorders at Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center.

Opening Reception: Sunday, September 11, 2011 from 2-4 p.m.

Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Centers and the Periwinkle Foundation are pleased to display the 21st annual Maing A Mark. This unique exhibition focuses on the personal issues that surround childhood illness as expressed by the children themselves.

Making A Mark is open to children from treatment centers all over the world. To highlgiht Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the Foundation has displayed more than 200 entries annually since the first exhivit. This year, the exhibit featurs over 330 pieces representing six difffernet countries. After the artwork is exhibited at Texas Children's Hospital, a portion of the show will travel to other venues throughout the country.

The art work done with French artist Gerarld Wagner was brought to Houston and is being exhibited.
