The Subsistances is a cultural group of artistic production in the 1st arrondissement of Lyon in France.

It combines a creative laboratory (theater, dance, and circus) and the "Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts" (National School of Fine Arts) of Lyon since 2007.

The Subs, as Lyon inhabitants call the group, offers workshops for artists, trays of work, exhibition, and performing arts, meeting space, opportunities for accommodation, and a restaurant. Designed as a place of experimentation, reflection, and production, The Subsistances want to become a laboratory open to all forms, disciplines, and methods of artistic creation, focusing on projects completed, questions to statements.
