Celebrating its 25 years, Inprint was founded in 1983 by a group of community leaders who sought to address a need in Houston for greater support and appreciation of the literary arts.

It's a non-profit organistation whose mission is to inspire readers and writers in Houston.

Inprint fulfills this mission through the nationally renowned Inprint Brown Reading Series as well as through literary and educational activities in the community that demonstrate the value and impact of creative writing.
