David McGee takes top honors at Texan-French Alliance
for the Arts benefit

Chaired by Martha Finger with co-chairs Laure Parise and Joëlle Petit and honorary chair Lynn Wyatt, the the Texan-French Alliance for the Arts' second Art Award & Auction benefited TFAA and Texas Children's Cancer Center's Art in Medicine program.
Held at the Decorative Arts Center, the auction featured work by 40 Texas and French artists. Judy Nyquist served as honorary selection chair of a committee of museum and arts professionals who chose Houston artist David McGee's watercolor Sartre & Camus as the winning artwork.
Congrats to McGee, who wins a 10-day residency in France, and to second prize winner Daniel Farioli, a French artist; and third-prize winner Jonathan Leach, a Houston artist.
