     To mark the 40th anniversary of the Franco-German Treaty of Friendship in 2003, and to strengthen the relations between the two countries, France and Germany decided to write a common history textbook for high school.

     The ambition of the textbook gathers the historical and education heritage of the 2 countries to create a common vision of the past and future projects together.

In the fall of 2006, for the first time, high school students and their history teachers from France and Germany used the same history textbook.

10.20 am: extract of 10 minutes from the documentary “Chacun son Histoire” by Pierre-Olivier François

10.35 am: Break

10.50am: Q&A between Awty students and the Historians and the Consuls

The questions will be prepared by the students from Awty.
